NBA YoungBoy ’s Make America Slime Again Tour has already racked up headlines for record-setting grosses, canceled dates, and wild crowd incidents — but now, it’s reportedly causing problems for the actual NBA.

According to Miami Heat beat reporter Ira Winderman, YB’s tour stops have repeatedly created an unexpected—and pretty unpleasant—issue for the team. For the third time in five games, the Heat have played in an arena the day after a YoungBoy show… and each time, the locker rooms have allegedly reeked

Winderman sounded off on Twitter/X on Thursday night (Oct. 30) as the Heat arrived at the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, where YoungBoy performed just 24 hours earlier:

“For the third time this season, the Heat are playing in an arena the night after an NBA Youngboy concert. And it smells the same as the first two,” he wrote. “Locker rooms literally are closed here in San Antonio with signs that they are being disinfected.”

No details were given on what exactly caused the stench — fans? smoke? something spilled? the energy of 15,000 teenagers screaming “Top” every night? — but the venue reportedly shut down the locker rooms for cleaning before the Heat could use them.

Whether this is standard post-concert protocol or a YoungBoy-specific aftereffect is still unclear, but it adds another chaotic footnote to a tour that’s managed to stay in the news for everything except music.

The MASA tour — YoungBoy’s first in five years — has been a financial success, but it hasn’t run smoothly:

  • Two shows (Chicago and Atlanta) were canceled without explanation.
  • A Kansas City stop turned violent when a 14-year-old fan attacked a stadium employee over seating instructions. The teen was later charged with felony assault.
  • In New Orleans, the hometown shows required hundreds of extra officers. One night involved a full-on brawl in the crowd. Another night, fans without tickets tried to rush the arena, forcing a temporary lockdown.
  • YoungBoy himself had to be escorted to safety after getting mobbed on Bourbon Street.

For an artist already banned from multiple venues and cities due to security risks, this tour has been both a comeback and a test of how much chaos the industry is willing to tolerate. YoungBoy has seven dates left before wrapping on Nov. 12 in Seattle—leaving time for more wild headlines to surface.
