After a five-year hiatus from hitting the road, the Baton Rouge rapper announced his “MASA (Make America Slime Again) Tour” on Thursday (May 15). The 27-city run kicks off September 2 at Dallas’ American Airlines Center and makes stops in major cities like Austin, L.A., Chicago, Brooklyn, Miami, and more. He’ll wrap up the tour in New Orleans on October 19.
YoungBoy is bringing rising stars DeeBaby, EBK Jaaybo, and K3 along for the ride.
This marks his first headlining tour since securing an early supervised release from federal custody. In December 2024, a judge sentenced YoungBoy (born Kentrell Gaulden) to 23 months in prison after he pleaded guilty to gun possession — a charge tied to a 2020 music video shoot where police found him with two firearms.
His legal troubles continued in April 2024, when authorities arrested him in Utah on charges of identity fraud and prescription forgery. Although he was scheduled for a July release, he gained his freedom early in March.
Even locked up, NBA YoungBoy stayed feeding the streets. He dropped More Leaks, a 20-track solo tape that kept fans spinning his sound while he was behind bars. He’s since followed up with “Shot Callin” earlier this May — making it clear that house arrest or not, YB is still calling the shots.
Now, with the MASA Tour on deck, the 24-year-old rap star looks to reconnect with fans and prove once again why he’s one of the most relentless and influential voices in hip-hop.
