With this already being one of the most anticipated albums of the year, you would expect that fans would be hyped about the latest drop. However, many listeners on social media were disappointed with the new song.
“I ain’t feelin ts where the pain music I wanna feel again,” one fan wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“YB I fw you but please delete this song and pretend it never existed,” another user chimed in.
“Not his best work, I will say that. But at least it’s different than the norm,” a third user remarked.
The responses from the first single off Slime Cry have been underwhelming. It will be interesting to see if the rest of Youngboy’s project can resonate with his fans.
