Cash Money and No Limit took center stage in Las Vegas this past weekend at ComplexCon for the relaunch of Verzuz. The stars were out in Sin City. YB & Lil Wayne Were Supposed to Hit Stage With Cash Money
According to Akademiks, rap stars and Louisiana Natives, Lil Wayne and NBA Youngboy, were also supposed to join Cash Money on stage.
“Cash Money wins hands-f*cking-down if this happens,” Akademiks began. “All this was contracted. The money was already set, and that’s not Birdman telling me.”
The hip-hop personality went on to explain that Weezy backed out of his performance the day of. However, he did not give an explanation for why Youngboy was not present for his performance.
“People sent the money. Wayne was supposed to come out, but canceled the day of,” he added. “Also, remember this is at ComplexCon, YoungBoy was gonna come out to perform one song and then perform at the end with Yeat and them, or after Yeat. Cash would’ve won. You have YoungBoy performing, you have Wayne performing. Crazy.”

Wayne was not the only member of the HotBoyz who was absent from the Verzuz. Turk was not in attendance for their matchup against No Limit. However, Birdman was a lot more vocal about Turk not showing up to ComplexCon.
“Shout out to Turk, you little b*tch. You ain’t here but fk you… We gon’ fk with you when we gon’ fk with you,” he said
Tensions arose after Turk was expelled from the Hot Boyz reunion tour this past summer. Citing him as a “security risk” as the reason for his removal. However, Turk says this was all part of a ploy to get him to take a pay cut. And he has since pursued legal action.
