Louisiana Rap Star N.B.A. Youngboy was recently released early from serving a two-year prison sentence. His incarceration stemmed from his confession to possessing firearms despite already having felony charges on his record, which violated the terms of his release.

NBA Youngboy’s Neighbor Has ‘Anxiety’ Concerns Over Security
NBA Youngboy is currently living in Utah, the state where he was incarcerated. And one of his neighbors is trying to make sure that he has everything he needs. The neighbor, Judy Zone, expressed her excitement about having NBA Youngboy back. However, Youngboy’s neighbor didn’t appear to be thrilled about the rap star’s armed security.
“I was stopped by two guys [Saturday] with bulletproof vests—security, dressed all in black–and one of them had an AK strapped to his chest,” she said, “It introduces this level of anxiety.”
She also said she plans to bring him cookies.
“I didn’t know he was back. I didn’t know that Kentrell was back,” she told KUTV’s Brian Mullahy. “So, I think I’m gonna bake him some cookies and bring them over because we had such a nice chat. He’s a very sweet kid. I mean, he’s really young. This is a really young person, very, very young person, very kind. He called me, ‘Ma’am.’ I told him I’d never listened to his music. He said, ‘I don’t recommend it.'”
Rap Star Involved in Altercation With Lil Durk Affiliate
Perhaps the armed security could have something to do with a recent alleged altercation that occurred while the “Lonely Child,” creator was still incarcerated.
Terrance “Gangsta” Williams, who is the brother of Cash Money Records CEO, Birdman, says Youngboy was involved in a prison brawl last month. And his target was an affiliate of rap rival Lil Durk’s crew, Only The Family (OTF).
Williams says that Youngboy knocked the OTF member “clean out” and that the Louisana rapper had been “standing on business” while he was incarcerated.
During is currently locked up with no bail after being named in two murder-for-hire plots.
