Nicki Minaj doesn’t appear to be taking her foot off the gas in her pursuit of Jay-Z. The Queen Barb appeared to take shots at the Roc Nation Founder in her verse on Lil Wayne’s Banned From NO Remix, appearing to take issue with his partnership with the NFL.
“NFL fire n****s then they call us,” Minaj raps on the song. Appearing to throw shade a Hov’s partnership with the NFL through Roc Nation
Nicki Minaj Appears to Double Down on Jay-Z Criticism
Following the backlash from her controversial verse, the Pinkprint creator took to social media on Thursday, June 19 appearing to double down on her criticism of the Roc Nation founder. She threatens to “start talking” about what she “found out” while accompanying the tweet with a hashtag of the song. The song where she spits the controversial verse about the NFL.
“Needing the Barbz is @ an all-time high for every distraction,” Nicki Minaj wrote. “So let me start talking about what I’ve found out. About them. Real juicy. Confirmations. #MakeABaby #BannedFromNO #PaidMoles Order in the court,” she wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter on June 19.
She also added: “They don’t want you to see what I’m liking [on Twitter]. So that feature was demolished. Listening devices. Cameras. Car tags. Pages you don’t follow under the ‘following’ section of X now? Hmmmmmm. Do I get paid for that?”
She also added: “NFL FIRE SOME N***@z & den [phone emoji].”
Fans also speculated that Minaj was also taking shots at Roc Nation President, Desiree Perez. Another tweet seemed to take aim at Perez’s ongoing legal issues with her daughter.
“All sounds so familiar,” the Roman’s Revenge creator tweeted. “Trying to tear a husband away from his wife & family with lies & friends in high places. Yuck. No more distractions.”
She also added: “How sick do you have to be to plant listening devices and cameras in your grown daughter’s bedroom? Listening in when she and her husband are intimate. Claiming you do this for love?? No b***h your [sic] just sick”
To this point, Jay-Z has yet to respond to any of Nicki Minaj’s recent criticisms about him. Nor has Desiree Perez.
