Nicki Minaj has reportedly pledged up to $300,000 to President Donald Trump’s newly launched Trump Account Investment Program, signaling a major financial commitment following her high-profile appearance at the initiative’s rollout.
According to a report from the New York Post, Minaj attended the Trump Accounts Launch Summit in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday (Jan. 28), where she publicly supported the program. The initiative is tied to recently passed tax and spending legislation that will see the federal government deposit $1,000 into investment accounts for every child born between 2025 and 2028, provided parents enroll their children while filing income taxes.
“I absolutely love my Barbz,” Minaj told The Post in a statement. “I want to see them bring healthy and successful children into the world. Becoming a mother was the greatest thing that’s ever happened to me, and I want others to experience the same joy my son has brought into my life.”
Per the report, Minaj’s pledge could result in investments ranging between $150,000 and $300,000, aimed at supporting families participating in the program. “I know raising a child can be expensive and challenging at times, so I’m committed to doing whatever I can to support them,” she added.
Minaj was front and center at the launch event, where she praised Trump as the “best president of all time.” Later that day, the Trinidad-born artist was also granted U.S. citizenship through Trump’s Trump Gold Card, adding another layer to a moment that has quickly sparked conversation across music, political, and social media circles.
