Nicki Minaj’s “QUEEN” release has literally been gearing up all Summer with it’s initial release date set for June. June was a jammed packed month for Hip-Hop heavyweights with Kanye starting out the month, Nas & Jay Z in the middle of the month, and Drake ending off the month. Subsequently Nicki Minaj’s “QUEEN” album was pushed back to an August date.

With the success of the breakthrough debut album of Cardi B’s “Invasion Of Privacy” eyes have been on Nicki like never before. It doesn’t help that Nicki released two singles the week Cardi B’s “Invasion Of Privacy” was released.
This brings us to Nicki Minaj’s opening week for her “QUEEN” album. With all this going on during Nicki’s press run many things get addressed from ghostwriting, to Cardi B & Remy, to the fact that Nicki feels that people are being paid to making up negative press about her.
DJ Akademiks posted the first week sales projects for this week as he always does and Nicki responded to his post saying “FAKE NEWS”. This begins the back and forth.
