Nicki Minaj’s Queen album has earned its first certification from the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America).

Released on Aug. 10th Nicki’s album took almost a month to reach the gold standard. According to RIAA records, the project reached the gold status on September 6th. The album has two singles that have also earned plaques with “Chun-Li,” which went platinum, and “Barbie Tingz,” which is gold. The album currently sits at No. 7 on the Billboard 200 after debuting in the No. 2 spot.
