Offset shook the streets up with a surprise album drop on Friday (October 31). His new project, titled Haunted By Fame, is now available.
Offset Claps Back at Cardi B on New Album
But, as most things involving Offset these days, his new album was not short of drama. On the album’s fourth track, titled No Sweat, the former Migos member appears to double down on the criticism of his soon-to-be ex-wife, Cardi B. And her new relationship with New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs.
“How the f*ck you leave Jordan for Rodman? (Huh?),” He raps on the first verse of “NO SWEAT.”
Offset also hit back at the claims that he is bitter about Cardi B filing for divorce. Affirming that she is the one who is unhappy about their split.
“You’re a fool if you think that I’m hurt (Hurt) / You ain’t happy, I know how it work (Woo) / How you married and still givin’ birth? (Hey) / Get some help, b*tch, you goin’ berserk (Hey).”
The second verse appeared to be in response to comments that Cardi made during an interview with CBS anchor Gayle King back in September. After revealing she and Diggs are expecting their first child together, Cardi talked about how “happy” she is in this current season of her life.
“I’m happy,” she said (via PEOPLE). “I feel like I’m in a good space. I feel very strong, very powerful that I’m doing all this work, but I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby.”
She also talked about how Diggs’ support in their relationship has helped her reach this point in her life.
“And my man, we’re very supportive of each other. We’re like in the same space in our careers,” she added. “I feel like we’re really great and one of the best at what we do. And I think the same way. ‘Yeah, you’re one of the greatest, but what’s next. What are we doing again? We have to do it again, all the time.’ We’re never, like, comfortable. We have to keep going at it, and that’s just what we are.”
