Rap stars Offset and Cardi B are in the middle of an impending divorce. And as they move toward a settlement, things just took an especially nasty turn.
Offset Wants Half in Divorce From Cardi B
According to a November 6 report from AllHipHop, Cardi tries to settle with Offset with a $10 million offer. However, the former Migos star reportedly declined the seven-figure settlement.
The reason? One source told that outlet that Offset “feels used.”
He also says that he and Cardi built her brand together. And now he wants the “cut” that he is owed. He believes that the settlement should be split down the middle as he is allegedly requesting “half.”
Offset has rejected a $10 million divorce settlement offer from Cardi B and is demanding a larger portion of her assets, allegedly stating, "I built her brand—I deserve half".

Fans on social media had mixed reactions to the latest saga involving the two rap stars.
“I built her brand” is wild when she was already the headline, and you were just the feature. Love really turns into business meetings real quick,” one person said on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“She was just a stripper when you met her. You deserve half king. Get your bag,” another user added.
Just what does Offset consider to be a fair cut? According to Cardi B, the rapper’s list of demands is extensive. She says that Offset is demanding that she pay his taxes and surrender their home as part of the divorce settlement. And she refuses to oblige.
“The only way I can get out of my marriage is if I pay for somebody else’s taxes, even though I pay for my own. And give them one of my properties. I’m not, I’m fighting for that,” she said during a recent X Spaces via Bardi Unfiltered. “I’m not gonna stop living my life because I’m practically still married because somebody wants to hold me hostage if I don’t give them millions of dollars to get out of it. So that’s what I’m going through in life.”
