Offset is looking to clear his name. Amid claims that he tried to set up his estranged wife Cardi B’s new boyfriend, NFL star Stefon Diggs, the rap star says that is not the case.
Offset Denies Claims He Tried to Set Up Diggd
In a statement to TMZ, one source for the rap star says that the Instagram model who tried to expose Offset has an “ongoing” beef with him. And that their relationship has “no connection” to the New England Patriots star.
“This girl has an ongoing beef with Set and is now looking to blow this up into something it’s not. Their feud has no connection to Diggs,” the outlet says.
To bring things up to speed, this happened after 24-year-old Instagram model Jordynn Gorr broke the internet when she leaked messages between her and Offset.
Gorr leaked messages from a previous conversation—one in which Offset appears to ask for her assistance in setting up Steffon Diggs.
In the leaked messages, Offset (grey messages) refers to Gorr (blue messages) as a “opp ass n***a,” after going more than a month without responding to a text message where he asks for her location. The rap star also gives her an ultimatum to give him the drop (location) for somebody or to stay away from him.
Offset has found himself doing a lot of damage control when it comes to his reputation. Earlier this month, screenshots began floating around of what appeared to be an Instagram story from the rap star, where he claimed paternity over Cardi B’s new child. Cardi B has publicly confirmed that Steffon Diggs is the father of her newborn son.
However, a source for Offset also said that the screenshot was never posted onto Offset’s Instagram story, and it was just the latest example of people trying to paint a narrative.
As Cardi B and Offset are still in the middle of a nasty divorce, it doesn’t appear that the drama between the two of them will be ending any time soon.
