Rap stars Offset and Cardi B’s divorce has become very public. As a result, several media personalities have begun to way in on their pending separation.
Offset Hits Back at Jess Hilarious
Jess Hilarious, host of Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club, was the latest to comment. And the former Migos star was quick to put her in her place.
“Jess stop mentioning me before I roast your a– for hating on another black woman,” he wrote.
Offset appeared to be mentioning the public spat between Jess Hilarious and Breakfast Club Co-host Loren Lorosa. Lorosa had filled in for Jess while she was on paternity leave last year. But during her absence fans began to point out how much more they liked Larosa.
Those murmurs only became louder once Hilarious returned. Eventually, Jess grew tired and voiced her frustrations with Lorosa as well as her co-hosts DJ Envy and Charlamagne The God.
Jess Hilarious Responds
On a recent episode of The Breakfast Club, Hilarious revealed that Offset approached her in her DMs, but she ignored him.
“He tried it. He is in my DM but I didn’t open the DM yet ’cause I didn’t feel compelled to go crazy on this man. I read the first few words and it said, ‘Why my name in your interview?’” she said.
“‘Cause I was asked about you, stupid! Come at Shannon, don’t come at me! We see the way you move. You mad. Just like Chris [Brown] did your man Quavo, I will do you the same way.”
This stemmed from Hilarious’ recent appearance on Club Shay Shay where she called out Offset and Cardi for making their relationship issues public knowledge.
“I would never do that,” she said of Cardi and Offset’s often online arguments. “Me and Rome [her son’s father], we’ve had our arguments [but] I’ve never gone back and forth with him online. Hell no. I never, ever want to do that. Because at the end of the day, we’ve still got this child, I’ve got to deal with you.”
Cardi B has yet to respond.
