Lil Durk is currently jailed in Los Angeles on federal murder-for-hire charges, but his label Only The Family (OTF) is still expanding.

Cedrick “SB” Earsery—longtime OTF COO and one of the rapper’s earliest collaborators from Chicago’s South Side—has officially been named CEO of the imprint.

Earsery, who helped secure Durkio’s 2012 Def Jam deal, later served as VP of A&R at Timbaland’s Mosley Music Group, and recently helped broker OTF’s 2024 Sony AWAL distribution partnership, says the goal is growth, not pause.

OTF is now moving beyond music into artist development, sports, film/TV, philanthropy, and management.

“The name says it all—Only The Family,” Earsery said, framing the shift as a push to build opportunity and infrastructure for the next generation.

Founded in 2010, OTF has been home to several key Chicago rap voices. With Earsery at the helm, the label is signaling continuity and expansion as Lil Durk ’s legal situation plays out
