Peewee Longway has long been a cult fan Atlanta staple, a true your favorite rapper’s favorite rapper. However, things are not looking up for the “Ooooweee” rapper.
What Happened To Peewee Longway?
Originally reported by Complex’s Shawn Setaro, Longway got caught up in a massive Georgia drug bust sting back in 2024, resulting in charges of drug and gun violations in a five-count indictment. However, back in May, he reached a plea deal with prosecutors, getting three of the charges dropped and his sentence reduced to 10 years in prison.
He plead guilty to charges of Conspiracy to Possess with the Intent to Distribute a Controlled Substance and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. A studio with ties to Longway got busted for 3,000 fentanyl pills and six firearms, with additional loaded firearms in the rapper’s house. Law enforcement also found evidence of text messages concerning drug trafficking.
In court, Longway told the judge he would dedicate himself to being a better father, person and brother. He also cited the untimely passing of his mother in 2024 as affecting his behavior.
Finally, Longway said music would no longer be his first priority. It’s unknown if Longway could get out sooner with good behavior.
If he had not pled guilty and accepted a plea deal, he was facing life in prison.

Who Is Peewee Longway?
The Atlanta rapper originally signed with Gucci Mane’s original 1017 record label back in 2013. However, after Gucci went to jail, Longway founded his own venture MPA BandCamp.
Throughout his decade-spanning career, Longway dropped several highly rated mixtapes and albums. Those include 2016’s Mr. Blue Benjamin, 2019’s Long Money Man, his Longway Sinatra series and Blue M&M series, among others.
His top songs include “Ooooweee,” the Young Thug and Quavo supported “Quarteback,” the Gucci Mane and Thug collab “Off The Leash,” and several other tracks.
