The admission seemed to bum the crowd out momentarily, til he played his show, which rose the energy.

Social Media Reacts To Carti Honesty

Social Media had mixed reactions to Carti’s admission.

“this might be the first time carti told the truth,” one user posted.

“Imagine you spent all your money to see some of your favorite artists and they just straight up admit they couldn’t give a damn about performing. Kinda sad his heart ain’t in it anymore. This guy used to be the best performer in the world deada**,” another user posted.

“Non-Carti fans think this is disrespectful, but real fans know this is the highest level of professional growth he’s shown in 5 years. This is a man who canceled a whole 40-date arena tour with zero explanation. The fact that he acknowledged he has a job and actually finished the set means The Weeknd’s HR team is working miracles,” another user coped.

“My goat really just human fr. He wanna take breaks and chill with his fans and friends (like me) sometimes,” another user posted.

“Mfs complaining but he doing after dawn tour going on 2 years and did the antagonist tour,” another user posted.

Some people at the show reported his lack of passion came from the crowd being milquetoast.

“i was there and was one of the only ppl giving him energy, most ppl wasn’t moving or anything unless it was fein or carnival playing,” another user posted.
