Rap star Pooh Shiesty has remained mum since his arrest this past April. But as his trial draws nearer, the FDO artist is finally speaking out.
Pooh Shiesty Breaks Silence For The First Time Since Arrest
In a post shared to his social media account on Monday (June 1), the rap star appears to proclaim his innocence. Ahead of his upcoming federal trial.
“1,2,3, not it,” Shiesty wrote in an Instagram story on Monday, caught by NoJumper.
Of course, fans in the comments section had a lot to say about Shiesty’s recent post.
“Not it??? So he is saying one of his men robbed them?” one user wrote on Instagram.
“He’s about to be fighting two cases like All-Star Jr 😂 Feds and state Texas not gonna play,” a second user chimed in.
“I got a game for him to play bubblegum bubblegum in a dish. How many years will you get !!!!,” a third user remarked.
To bring things up to speed, Shiesty was arrested in April on kidnapping and armed robbery charges. The feds believe that the rap star organized an ambush on rap artist Gucci Mane.
They assert that Shiesty led Gucci Mane to believe he was having a one-on-one with Pooh Shiesty at his studio in Dallas. To amicably resolve a contract dispute and release him from his record deal with 1017 Brick Squad. But when Gucci declined, he and eight other men blitzed him and coerced the rapper to sign the documentation, releasing Shisty
from his deal.
They also allege that the men robbed Gucci and the other victims of jewelry, Rolex watches, and cash.
