Rapper Pooh Shiesty was released from federal prison in October after serving three years of a five-year sentence for a firearms conspiracy charge.
Pooh Shiesty Clowns Bronny James in ‘First Day Out’ Freestyle
With Pooh Shiesty officially on the other side of the wall, fans were anticipating his first day out freestyle. And on Friday (December 12), the rap star dropped his first song since being released from federal custody. And while many were excited to hear his new freestyle, it was unfortunate for Los Angeles Lakers star Bronny James. Bronny became the subject of a Pooh Shiesty bar about him and his father, LeBron.
“See, my daddy my first co-D, jumped in the streets, he showed me lanes (Them facts) / Your daddy a killer, but you ain’t, you just like Bronny James (Facts),” Pooh Shiesty raps.
LeBron James is widely regarded as the greatest player of all time. His career resume reads four-time NBA Champion, four-time NBA Most Valuable Player, and the NBA’s all-time leading scorer. Bronny, on the other hand, is a second-round draft pick who comes off the bench. In other words, the two are not comparable.

However, social media users did not seem to be that impressed. With the bar or the song as a whole.
“Bro dissed with the same flow he entered the penitentiary in… Lol,” one user said on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“N***s say anything to go viral. Lame a** ni**a wit a lame a** flow… and weak ass bars,” a second user added.
Other fans did not feel like it was a diss towards Bronny. But rather just a play on words.
“Are we serious? He’s not dissing Bronny, it’s a f*****g bar. LeBron is killing sh** compared to Bronny not doing sh**,” another user chimed in.
At the time of writing, neither Bronny nor LeBron has responded to Pooh Shiesty’s new song.
