Pooh Shiesty has given fans a glimpse into his mindset as he serves a five-year sentence for a federal gun conspiracy conviction.
On Thursday, the Memphis rapper posted three photos to Instagram along with a lengthy caption expressing gratitude to those who’ve stood by him during his incarceration.
“Aye mane, say mane, that’s how you walk that lil t down,” he wrote. “Shout-out to all the ones who counted me down and not out. The support and love I received on this roller coaster is unmatched. S/O to all the good men I stomped the yard with like Chris Brown.”
Shiesty also gave recognition to a select few rappers whose reputations, in his view, hold weight behind federal prison walls, and he delivered a pointed message to the streets about loyalty and taking accountability.
“S/O to the other selected few rappers who name hold weight in these fed walls,” he continued. “Dear streets, use me as an example of what ‘keeping it solid and standing on wax’ looks like. Now nobody can fool you or tell you different. Ain’t never going, ain’t never went! I stamp it! I’m rich as I ever been, lit as I ever been! IF YOU N*A FEEL ME, KL ME! #TheBiggestGetBack.”
Shiesty, whose real name is Lontrell Williams Jr., was sentenced in 2022 after pleading guilty to conspiracy to possess a firearm in furtherance of violent crime in connection to an October 2020 shooting in Florida.
