Pooh Shiesty’s Father Released on Bond
According to Fox 13 Memphis, Williams Sr has been released from federal custody on a $250,000 bonds. He is also being placed on house arrest. And will only be allowed to leave his home to travel to his court dates in Dallas.
Earlier this month, the feds swept up Shiesty, his father, and seven other men over an alleged armed robbery. They assert that Pooh Shiesty arranged a meeting with Gucci Mane to request to be released from his record deal with 1017 Brick Squad. And when Gucci declined, the men executed an ambush where they drew weapons and coerced Gucci into signing the document that granted him his release.
The feds allege that they have surveillance footage of Williams Sr at a Dallas Staples location, printing out the document.
However, the antics of the nine men did not stop at forcing Gucci to sign the document, which granted him his release. They also stole an assortment of other men who were at the studio with Gucci. Including Rolex watches and cash. Feds also allege that the men unscrewed Gucci’s earrings and took his wedding ring.
In the release, United States Attorney Ryan Raybould promised that the defendants would be “vigorously” prosecuted for their crimes.
“Instead of discussing business civilly, the defendants resorted to violence and intimidation to achieve their purported business objectives,” Raybould said. “For anyone contemplating using violence and intimidation as a business practice, I’m here to tell you that it will be vigorously investigated and prosecuted in the Northern District of Texas.
If Pooh Shiesty is found guilty, he could spend the rest of his life behind bars.
