After Hot 97 nixed their flagship morning program, Ebro in The Morning, earlier this month, many pondered what that meant. Concerning the future of New York radio. Especially because there had been no talks of a contract renewal between Charlemagne the God and iHeartMedia. However, it does not appear that the program is going anywhere. But rather headed to an even bigger platform.

The Breakfast Club Set to Hit Netflix in 2026

According to a December 16 report from Variety, the morning show will be moving to Netflix in January. As part of a deal between the streaming service and iHeartMedia.

After the deal was made official, Charlamagne the God took to social media to express his excitement and gratitude.

“2025. 9 years that equals completion. Snake year that equals shedding. Let’s try this new skin. WE TRULY THANK GOD FOR IT ALL!!” he captioned his Instagram post on Tuesday.

Fans in the comments section of the post are also excited about the upcoming move.

“Ebro getting tossed out the house like Jazz from Fresh Prince, while y’all moon walking into new opportunities. Crazy turn of events,” one user wrote on Instagram.

“On NETFLIX?? Yeah, boy, now I can catch the show without missing it!” another user added.

As part of the new deal, full-length episodes of the program will now exclusively be available on Netflix, as opposed to YouTube, as they were under the previous arrangement. And with the morning program that has a knack for viral interviews, the content being available on an even bigger platform will be beneficial for both parties.

Lauren Smith, Netflix VP of content licensing and programming strategy, was equally as excited about the new deal.

“With this partnership, we are incredibly excited to offer our members such an unmatched variety, and to deliver highly entertaining podcasts featuring some of the world’s most dynamic personalities,” Smith said in a statement to Variety.

Stay tuned for more updates.
