Tyquian Bowman, better known as rap star Quando Rondo, is serving a 33-month prison sentence after he pleaded guilty to federal drug conspiracy charges in 2024.
Quando Rondo Updates Fans With New Prison Photo
With Quando set to be released later this year, he updated fans on his condition. With a post to his social media page on Sunday night (March 22).
In the carousel of photos, Quando sports a green prison jumpsuit. In another photo, he poses shirtless. There is also a photo of him posing with another inmate. Quando also has a significantly different appearance from the last time fans saw him. He is no longer sporting his traditional short afro. Instead, he has grown his hair out and now has dreadlocks. He also appears to be in good spirits based on the caption.
“Rico came I ain’t budged I was bunkys with the plug , I was just the only cuz doing burpees with the bloods!” he captioned the social media post.

Fans in the comments section of the post sent a flurry of positive messages to the rap artist.
“Free my n**a Quando 💯 a real legend in this music shi and real n***a,” one person wrote on Instagram.
“FREE YOU THE FAST WAY,” a second user chimed in.
“Gone b da hottest lil bra wen u touch straight drop music,” a third user chimed in.
In August 2024, Rondo pleaded guilty to conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute and to distribute controlled substances (marijuana). He is set to be released in April 2027.
