Pooh Shiesty’s associate Big30 was one of the men swept up by the feds over his alleged connection to an armed robbery in Dallas earlier this year. He was initially granted bond, but a stay order was put in place. And now prosecutors are naming him a flight risk as he will soon have the means to flee.
Prosecutors Say Big30’s Pending Deal Makes Him a Flight Risk
The rap artist has a pending record deal with Connect Music Deal. And while the dollar amount has not been specified, the deal is reportedly seven figures. And prosecutors believe that once that deposit hits his account, it will give him the resources that he needs to flee the country (via NoJumper/IG)
Pooh Shiesty’s father, Lontrell Williams Sr, was also initially granted a bond. But there has been a stay order placed on his bond as well.
The feds believe that Pooh Shiesty lured Gucci Mane into an ambush at his studio in Dallas, Texas. Gucci believed that he and Shiesty were having a one-on-one business meeting to discuss his being released from his contract with 1017 Brick Squad. However, Gucci declined to sign the paperwork. Shiesty, His Father, Big 30, and several other men blitzed the rapper and forced him to sign the paperwork.
In a statement to ABC24, Big 30’s lawyer, Arthur Horne, called the allegations against the rappers “sad.”
“He doesn’t have a criminal history. He’s been making music for a number of years,” Horne told the outlet. “He and Pooh Shiesty came up in the music game together. They were very close and made music together. It’s just sad that this is happening right now… I just hope that people will wait to pass judgment on Rodney and these other individuals until all the facts come out.”
