Pusha T Weighs in On Drake Lawsuit
Drake had another bitter rap feud with Pusha T in 2018. Where the “Daytona” creator revealed that Drizzy had a child with Sophie Brussaux also known as adult film star Rosie Divine. Amid Drizzy’s lawsuit, Pusha doubled down on his criticism of Drake. Noting that the lawsuit “cheapens the art”
“I don’t rate him no more. The suing thing is bigger than some rap sh–. I just don’t rate you,” the rap star said in a June 2025 interview with GQ.” “Damn, it’s like it just kind of cheapens the art of it once we gotta have real questions about suing and litigation. Like, what? For this?”
Five years after the release of Pusha’s controversial song, Drake finally hit back at Pusha in his 2023 song “Wick Man.”
“Man, I remember n***as was jokin’ ’bout some tick, tick And now that rapper broke as f**k, that boy a statistic,” Drake raps in the song.
Pusha T and Malice (Clipse) have an album titled, “Let God Sort ‘Em Out” that will be released on July 11. Last year they revealed their plans to drop a project for the first time in fifteen years under the Def Jam Label.
However, when the official announcement came in May, the distribution was credited to Jay-Z’s Roc Nation.
Pusha recently revealed the reason for the switch-up was that the label wanted to nix Kendrick Lamar’s verse on one of the tracks titled “Whips & Chains.”
Pusha noted that he received similar pushback after “Story of Adidon” dropped.
“If [Drake’s] adamant to have a lawsuit it’s only because he knows all the things that they did to suppress everything that was happening around ‘Adidon’ and the verses and the records and things that were happening back then,” he added.
