Pusha T and Malice, also known as Clipse, are amid the rollout of their new album, Let God Sort ‘Em Out. As the new project’s July 11 release date approaches, the famed rap group is upping the pressure. Specifically, the younger Thornton, Pusha T.
Pusha T Threatens To Leak Video of Travis Scott
In the second single off of the forthcoming project, titled So Be It, King Push takes a shot at rap star Travis Scott. In the hellacious verse, Pusha T threatens to release a video of Scott crying following his breakup with his ex-girlfriend, Kylie Jenner.
“You cried in front of me, you died in front of me. Calabasas took your b*tch and your pride in front of me. I got the video I can share and AE it. I can’t unsee it, lucky I ain’t TMZ it,” he raps on the track.
Pusha T noted that his issues with Travis stemmed from an incident that occurred around the time Scott dropped his 2023 album, Utopia. The album became controversial after Drake aimed at Clipse’s longtime cohort, Pharrell Williams. In the song, he reveals that he purchased Williams’ $2.2 Million N.E.R.D chain and melted it down.
Travis apparently traveled to Pharrell’s studio, which is now located at Louis Vuitton headquarters, in Paris to play his album for the super producer — and interrupted a Clipse recording session to do so.
What Pusha T really took issue with was the fact that the version of the album that he played for Clipse and Pharrell did not feature Drake’s controversial verse.
“So, that’s where my issue comes in—like, dawg, don’t even come over here with that,” Push said during a recent interview with GQ.
The rap star also added: “Because at the end of the day, I don’t play how y’all play. To me, that really was just like…he’s a whore. He’s a whore.”
