Good news everyone, Quality Control Co-Founder Pierre “P” Thomas has been doing well as he recovers from his heart attack. According to TMZ and his mother, his condition has vastly improved.
However, in a short video, his mother made it clear that she believes foul play was involved.
“Let me straighten y’all all out,” Thomas’ mother said. “First of all, my son is not dead. No matter what my son has done to me, no matter what he’s done to you, he’s still my child. Somebody did this to him, and I know it because there’s neurologically no reason [for the heart attack]. Pierre is alive. Is he well? No. But don’t count nobody out… We reap what we sow in this life… I can’t just walk away from my child like that and he’s incapacitated. But cut the lie… My son is not dead. I don’t know who gave TMZ that story, but cut the lie. He’s healing. He’s recovering. And I’m here. He rising up like Lazarus.”

What Happened To P?
Pierre “P” Thomas, the co-founder of Quality Control was rushed to the hospital on Friday, August 21st, in Las Vegas.
Quality Control was founded by Thomas in 2013 alongside Kevin “Coach K” Lee. The label is responsible for bringing up artists such as Cardi B, OG Maco, City Girls, Lil Yachty, Lil Baby, and The Migos, among others.
The label helped usher in the 2010s takeover of Atlanta trap music and still houses Billboard level artists today.
Other outlets like My Mixtapez, Tasha K, and Raphouse TV erroneously reported P had died. However, reps quickly dispelled the tabloid, saying he was alive and recovering in the ICU.
