On Monday (April 5), rap artist Offset was shot outside of a Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood, Florida.
Quavo Appears to Send Well Wishes to Offset
After the news was reported, former Migos member Quavo appeared to respond through a post to his Instagram story. He posted a praying hands emoji with a black background. Appearing to send well wishes to his former group mate.
Check out the post below, as caught by StreetWork85Nawf on X:
Offset and Quavo had a falling out around 2022. And during that rift, fellow Migos member Takeoff was shot and killed that November. During a 2025 appearance on Baby, This is Keke Palmer, Offset explained that in the aftermath of that unspeakable tragedy, he and Quavo’s issues with each other had to take a backseat.
“When that happened, it was a time for brotherhood. Everything goes out the window,” he added. “And then with time and space, it’s a guilt on both ends… I love Quay, but I think it’s just better for us to be on our own different things now.”
However, although he and Quavo are forging different paths at this point in their careers, Offset says fans shouldn’t rule out a Migos reunion.
“Maybe a couple of years from now,” Offset continued. “The plan was always for us to be doing our thing as solo acts. I feel like that’s what separated us as a group anyway. That’s why we were so big and why we lasted so long; it was because each man could hold their own. And then maybe with success on both sides, that could bring things back. But I don’t know. It’s hard.”
Reps for the rap star have confirmed that Offset is in stable condition following the shooting and is being closely monitored. No word on whether he has been released yet. Stay tuned for more updates.
