Shortly after Quavo’s post went viral, Offset followed up with a post of his own. Featuring a photo of himself, Takeoff, and Quavo with the caption reading “ON DAT!!!”
The Migos were part of a culture shift in the Atlanta music scene. Hits such as Bad & Boujee, Add it Up, and Handsome & Wealthy catapulted them to superstardom. Unfortunately, the split occurred following the tragic death of their co-star Takeoff nearly three years ago. The rap star was shot and killed in November 2022 during an altercation in a Houston bowling alley.
Legendary Atlanta music producer Jermaine Dupri says that Takeoff’s death left the city in a bad place.
“That hurt a lot of the city, period,” he said of Takeoff’s death. “The Migos breaking up was a bad situation for Atlanta because they were moving — and I think they’re better together anyway, me personally.”
Are you looking forward to a potential Migos reunion?
