The fallout between Quavo and Offset has been well documented. But, olive branches were extended following Takeoff’s death, leading to the possibility of a reconciliation.
It appears that will be the case as Quavo and Offset ready their first collab in over 4 years “Away,” while also teasing the final Migos album in 2027.
Previously, during an interview with DJ Greg Street on Atlanta’s V-103, Quavo revealed that him and Offset want to handle the reunion properly before releasing new material and eventually touring together.
“We comin’ back,” Quavo said. “We’re going to do it one more time. The Migos are back.”
Now, in an interview with Complex, Quavo explained how he and Offset put aside their differences in the wake of Takeoff’s death.
“It threw out all the things that I was upset about or that we had friction about,” Quavo told Complex. “It was enough for me to say, alright, cool. Whatever you’re going through, I’ll go through with you…“Me losing my brother, it can’t get no tougher than that.”
Quavo’s new album QROMELIFE drops this Thursday.
