Quavo says he and Young Thug are working on something bigger than music, revealing that the two Atlanta stars are in the process of building a label together.
The update comes after a recent Instagram comment from Young Thug involving Quavo and YSL sparked attention online.
According to Quavo, the goal is centered on creating opportunities for the next generation of artists.
“It’s all about passing the torch down to the youth,” Quavo said.
Both Quavo and Young Thug have played major roles in shaping Atlanta’s sound over the past decade, and a joint label could give emerging artists access to two of the city’s most influential voices.
More details about the label, including its name, roster, and official launch plans, have not yet been announced.

Thug Shoots His Shot
On Quavo’s Instagram post, the Migos rapper posted a carousel of him hanging out at Universal Studios and in the studio.
“Took some time to get here what’s the rush?! #QRÖMELIFE,” Quavo captioned.
However, an interesting name popped up in his comment section. None other than Young Thug had a message for the Migos rapper, and it wasn’t the usual fire emojis or gas ups fellow rappers usually comment.
“Leave capital and come with us brada we need u,” Thug commented.
This left many fans in shock, with many questioning why he doesn’t just call him.
However, maybe Thug was onto something, proving that shooting your shot is always the way to go.
