Rapper POORSTACY Dead at 26
Per a report from TMZ, the Boca Raton medical examiner confirmed the death of the rising artist, legally named Carlito Milfort, on Saturday (November 29).
The outlet also adds that Milfort was rushed to the hospital over the weekend for a “medical emergency.” The outlet also spoke to an employee at the Boca Raton hotel. Where he had been checked in for 10 days. The employee says that POORSTACY checked into a hotel with a toddler and another woman. But he was the only person who was taken to the hospital on Saturday.
The details surrounding the rap artist’s death are still being gathered. So no cause of death has been confirmed as of yet. However, TMZ does note that several of the comments under his last social media post have indicated he could have died by suicide. But take it with a huge grain of salt because once again, details are still being gathered.
POORSTACY’s death is particularly tragic because he had really just begun to make his imprint on the music industry. His unique sound — which blended emo rap with punk rock and heavy metal– had really begun to make waves. So much so that he even landed several collaborations with Blink-182 drummer, Travis Barker, including “Choose Life” and “Hills Have Eyes.”
In addition, His song “Darkest Night” was featured on the Grammy-nominated soundtrack for the 2020 film Bill & Ted Face the Music.
May POORSTACY rest in peace.
