Rapsody does not like being played with. The Grammy-nominated rapper recently discovered an imposter cosplaying as her on X, and she did not take too kindly to the revelation.
What Did Rapsody Say To The Imposter?
From her official X account, Rapsody made it clear she did not appreciate the impersonation.
“Why are you impersonating me?,” Rapsody posted. “Have you nothing better to do with your time, loved one?”
Further digging into the account shows they’ve been copying Rapsody’s posts since April 25th, sometimes taking word for word stories posted by the rapper. Other times, they disturbingly make up posts and stories that they attribute to Rapsody’s life.
It seems though the account was originally impersonating a Thai influencer, as their videos and posts are translated from Thai.
While the account may not be real, Rapsody’s upcoming performance at the Ohio Black Expo is, featuring other artists such as October London, Tank and The Bangas, Loose Ends, Monie Love and more. Tickets for the May 23rd event are on sale now.

How Did Fans React To Her Impersonator?
Fans were rightfully confused at the poor impersonation.
“The internet is filled with weirdos,” one user posted.
“wait i thought that was you fr,” another user posted. “Jesus Christ they are sick.”
“Weird af,” another user posted.
So far, despite several people saying they would report the account, it’s still up and posting as normal.
