Ray J Calls Tyrese’s Verzuz Performance “Trash,” Says Tank Clearly Won

Ray J is weighing in on the recent Verzuz conversation—and he’s not holding back when it comes to Tyrese.

The singer and reality star recently shared his thoughts on Tyrese’s performance, making it clear he wasn’t impressed. According to Ray J, Tank came out on top in the matchup, delivering a stronger overall showing that outshined Tyrese on the Verzuz stage.

Ray J didn’t stop at picking a winner. He went on to criticize Tyrese’s performance, calling it “trash” and even claiming it was worse than his own showing during his 2022 Verzuz appearance—a moment that drew plenty of attention and mixed reactions at the time.

The comments add another layer to the ongoing debate around Verzuz battles and how artists stack up live, especially in the R&B space where vocals and stage presence are heavily scrutinized.

With opinions flying and egos involved, it’s clear the Verzuz conversation is far from over.
