Ray J’s mother, Sonja Norwood, had a lot to say about the Kardashians in a recent social media post, and she didn’t hold back in her rant.
Sonya Norwood Hits Back at Kardashian’s Claims
In a post to her Facebook page, Norwood vowed to expose the “truth” about the infamous tape that features her son and reality star Kim Kardashian.
“After reading the declarations from Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian, and reading their recent statements circulating, including reports published across multiple media outlets regarding the tape, I am no longer going to sit back and watch my son be “dogged” on social media over this matter when Ray J and I, Kris and Kim, and many others know the truth,” she wrote in a social media post on Thursday (March 12).
Sonja’s comments come in response to the Kardashians’ recent claims during their legal battle. After filing a defamation lawsuit against Ray J, the One Wish creator hit back with a counterclaim of his own. Alleging that Kris and Kim had violated a 2023 settlement agreement by continuing to discuss their 2003 sex tape, which he claims they staged and released.
However, Sonja says that isn’t the case, despite Kris and Kim recently denying the claims under oath.
“And Kris, momager, you say you did not orchestrate the commercial release of the tape. Then who did?” she asked.
Sonja also vowed to stand by her son. And fight until everyone knows what’s true.
“I support Ray J and his journey to bring the truth forward. I have witnessed this journey for many years, and however long it takes, whether it becomes a long journey or a difficult battle, we will stay on that path until the voices that have distorted the truth are publicly revealed.
And if that truth journey must continue all the way to the doorstep of God’s judgment, then so be it,” she concluded.
At the time of writing, Kris and Kim Kardashian have not responded to Sonya’s comments.
