Rick Ross recently appeared on Thoughts in A Culli. And during the interview, he weighed in on the current state of his relationship with Drake.
Rick Ross Gets Honest About Relationship With Drake
Ross inserted himself into Drake and Kendrick Lamar’s 2024 rap beef with his song, Champagne Moments.
During the interview, Rozay was asked if he saw himself reconciling with Drake in the future. But Ross says whether they hash out their differences is completely up to Drake.
“Homie has a lot of issues he has to address,” Ross said of a potential reconciliation. “I’m going to leave it right there. Is there any potential of him being a real n***a? He’s gotta decide that. He got s**t he gotta deal with any address.”
Ross also says that he hopes the situation between him and Drake will serve as an example to the next generation.
“And you know, hopefully it’s a lot of n****s that were watching and learned from it,” he continued. “You know it’s unfortunate for him. But for the next generation of artists like myself. Who studied the game and watched the game, and I watched greats fall out and have differences or whatever it was. [Hopefully they’ll be like] ‘I see what comes with it, I see what goes with it.'”

He says he still plays the music they made together, but makes it clear, what happens next is up to Drake 🤔

Despite his issues with Drake, Rozay continues to perform the songs that he has created with Drizzy during his shows. But Rozay says that people shouldn’t make too much of it. It’s just his way of paying homage to the art that he has created in the past.
“I’m a real n***a. And being a real n***a, you never change your past. The music I’ve created in the past, I could never change. And I’ve enjoyed it, and I’m going to still enjoy it,” he said. “Can’t know, lame n****a or no n***a having differences make me not enjoy something that I was a part of. So that’s that. I control how it goes from here on. That’s what the boss decides. “
At the time of writing, Drake has not responded to Ross’ comments.
