Rising rapper JaYy Wick has been arrested in metro Atlanta in connection to a Florida beach shooting that left an 18-year-old man critically injured.
According to the Bay County Sheriff’s Office, 26-year-old Donald Anderson is facing an attempted first-degree murder charge after a shooting at Panama City Beach’s Beach Access 83 on April 25. Deputies say the victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds during the incident.

Authorities claim JaYy Wick fled the scene after the shooting and later performed at Vibez Night Club during “229 Takeover Weekend.” He was arrested May 5 with help from U.S. Marshals and multiple law enforcement agencies. Investigators also say a firearm was recovered during the arrest.
The Cordele, Ga. rapper is known for his viral 2025 track “Pork Chop Sammich” and had reportedly been building momentum as an emerging artist before the arrest. If convicted, he could face 25 years to life in prison.
