According to TMZ, Takeoff’s mother and father have not been able to agree on the details to his wrongful death lawsuit. Because of this, she may call Offset and Quavo to testify on her behalf.
Takeoff’s mother Titania Davenport is being challenged by his father Kenneth Ball over how much money Ball will receive from the suit.
Davenport has filed for the case to be heard in Georgia, while Ball wants it done in Texas. The issue with bringing this to Texas is that all potential witnesses would have to travel to Houston and cover the costs of their travel.
Davenport argued that she had an extremely close relationship with Takeoff, raising him as a single mother. She says Ball “provided negligible financial support and effectively no emotional support” to Takeoff when he was a child, nor was he actively involved in the rapper’s life.
This comes as Offset and Quavo announce multiple Migos music projects are in store for 2027.
Quavo and Offset may reportedly be asked to testify in Takeoff's mother's wrongful death settlement battle.
