Hip-hop history has come full circle as RZA reunites the legendary Juice Crew for the first time in decades with a new project titled Bobby Digital Presents: The Juice Crew. Curated and produced by RZA, the release marks the first official Juice Crew project in generations, bridging two of the most influential collectives in rap history.
The project features a powerhouse lineup of Juice Crew icons including Big Daddy Kane, Masta Ace, Kool G Rap, Roxanne Shanté, Craig G, MC Shan, Grand Daddy I.U., Pearl Gates, and others. RZA described the reunion as “a super duper dynamite blast,” underscoring the cultural weight of the moment.
Originally formed in the mid-1980s under the guidance of Marley Marl, the Juice Crew helped define the golden era of hip-hop, laying the foundation for lyrical excellence, battle rap, and street storytelling. Their influence continues to echo across generations, most recently highlighted by Roxanne Shanté becoming the first female rapper to receive a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.
