Saweetie may have some problems to deal with. The rapper has reportedly been served by a Japanese company for allegedly not fulfilling her contract.
Why Is She Being Sued?
Saweetie reportedly had a booking in Japan under a promotion company named Moon Dream Production, but the company claims she breached her contract.
The lawsuit stems from a report by TMZ that the singer signed a deal for four shows in Japan from July 18 to July 26, 2025. Moon Dream Production claims Saweetie agreed to perform for a $200k fee, with a $100K deposit. Court documents state Saweetie received that deposit up front.
The promoter says Saweetie breached the deal by not performing and not showing up. The suit claims the promoter assisted Saweetie and her team with visa services, allowing her to enter Japan. However, Moon Dream alleges she performed at other venues in Japan instead, specifically, on the same dates she had agreed to perform at their shows.
The promoter claims they reached out to Saweetie’s team to get back the deposit, but they refuse to refund them.
Moon Dream Production is seeking $3 Million in damages. Saweetie’s team has not commented on the allegations at this time.

What Else Is Going On With Saweetie?
Nothing good, is the short answer. She’s been swept up in major drama regarding her ties to Offset. Some fans have even speculated she’s one key reason why the Migos broke up, after allegations of an entanglement with Offset surfaced. For context, she’s Quavo’s ex.
Offset has denied any involvement with Saweetie. The rumors first sparked up when Quavo and Takeoff dropped “Messy,” which featured the lyric: “‘Caresha, please’ (Soo) ’cause she too messy (Please) / B**** f***** my dog behind my back, but I ain’t stressin’ (Not at all).”
Podcaster and rapper Nore also claims he has information about Offset and Saweetie but won’t say anything publicly.
