The countdown for Drake’s new album is officially on. And his fans are already in rare form.

This will be Drake’s first solo album since his 2024 feud with rap star Kendrick Lamar. And Drake is looking for revenge against his opponents. And apparently so are his fans.

Schoolboy Q Deletes 2013 Drake Tweet After Fans Backlash

Ahead of his release, members of the Drake hive did their finest detective work. And dug up a 2013 social media post from rap artist Schoolboy Q. He was praising the OVO boss.

“Every time Drake drops a song, everybody stops what they’re doing and finds Headphones lol cuHz 2 on,” the post reads.

SchoolBoy Q, of course, has close ties to Drake’s top nemesis, Kendrick Lamar. Due to the fact that they were former labelmates on Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE) before Lamar’s departure in 2022.

Once the post went viral on social media, Schoolboy Q deleted it. But that didn’t stop fans from calling him out.

“Genuinely weird. He loved him and then just started hating him when it became a trend,” one user wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“TDE gave him the boss call and told him to delete it,” a second user chimed in.

“Q really out here doing tweet cleanup in 2026, bro said ‘2 on’ and immediately regretted it,” a third user remarked.

Ironically enough, Drake could name-drop Schoolboy Q on Iceman. In March, a snippet surfaced, and Drake mentions the TDE artists on the track.

“I might hit up f*cking ScHoolboy and do a remix, cause you put your n****s on, but they’re making peanuts. We don’t ever piece it up, the shit we got between us,” he raps on the track.

This appeared to be a response to Kendrick’s bar on his track Wacced Out Murals from his 2024 album, GNX. On the song, he raps: “I never peace it up that s**t don’t sit well with me.”

Iceman is slated to drop this Friday (May 15).
