Sexyy Red Talks Potential Future With WWE
While speaking to Taylor Symone Harris on TV, the St. Louis native talked about her career as a WWE Superstar. WWE Legend Sean Michaels is a huge Sexxy Red fan. And as general manager of WWE NXT, he has invited the rapper to appear on the program on several occasions.
During her latest appearance at the Premium Live Event, Stand and Deliver, the rap star was asked if she would be wrestling that evening. Although the Pound Town creator did not wrestle that night, she did hint at something potentially being in the works for the future.
“They ain’t let me do no moves last time because they talk about I gotta train, but they might let me do something this time because I’ve been messing with them for so long,” she said as caught by Fightful.com.
Sexyy Red is also set to drop her next studio album this Friday, April 18. Which is also her 29th birthday.
Cardi B Gets Voted of Confidence From Triple H
Sexyy Red is not the only rapper interested in entering the squared circle. Cardi B has also teased being interested in a potential WWE run.
And WWE Hall of Famer Triple H says that we should not rule out Cardi B making her debut in the wrestling ring.
“I don’t know if anybody can control Cardi B. Let me just start with that. So if she wants to, I think it’s going to be hard to talk her out of it. And then what can we expect? Who the hell knows,” he said of a potential wrestling career for the rap star.
“The one thing I know about Cardi is that whatever she’s going to do, is what she’s going to do. And you’re sort of kind of just hanging on to the tiger’s tail a little bit there. So she’s a lot of fun to work with. Has been so far with this.”
