Sexyy Redd is back outside just in time for the summer. In a social media post on Monday (April 6), the St. Louis native revealed the release date of her next studio album.
Sexyy Redd Reveals Release Date For Next Album
In the post Sexxyy Redd says the next project will drop on April 15, which is also her birthday. She doesn’t reveal the title of the forthcoming project. But the post does feature the apparent cover art for the new project. It features a photo of her doing a money spread as she poses in front of a Mercedes-Benz and a Rolls-Royce.
“My album officially drops in 9 days, APRIL 15th, which is my birthday 🥳🥳🩸🩸DA COUNTDOWN BEGINS ‼️” she captioned the post.
The announcement and cover art received mixed reactions from fans.
“Oh yeah, baby, love this my new screen saver on 4nem,” one person wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“Sexy Red, I DON’T GIVE A !! F….ck what they say, you’re ALL THAT and some moe Okay,” a second user chimed in.
“Hopefully the songs aren’t mid like they used to be,” a third user added.
Sexyy Redd burst onto the music scene in 2023 with her hit record, Pound Town. Since then, she has collaborated with top talents such as Nicki Minaj and Drake.
But with all of her success, Sexyy Red has received just as much hate. Being called everything from a one-hit wonder to an industry plant. But in a 2025 interview with Dazed Digital, she says the hate just fuels her to go harder.
“I like making people mad!” she said. “When they are talking crazy in the comments about my appearance, people ask: ‘Are you sad?’ I swear to God, this shit doesn’t affect me one bit. It’s more like: isn’t it crazy that someone thinks about me so much that they want to post something? My job is to shit on these bitches and make them mad, and I am very good at it.”
