This collaboration builds on an already prosperous relationship between Snoop and NBCUniversal. The hip-hop icon has served as a judge on The Voice and played a prominent role in NBC and Peacock’s coverage of the 2024 Olympics. This fall, he’ll return to The Voice as a coach for Season 28, having previously held the role in Season 26.
“Not everyone has the courage and vision to see what Death Row Pictures can bring to the table, but Donna and the NBCUniversal team have always understood,” Snoop said in a statement. “I am proud to call NBCUniversal my new home. The Dogg has officially moved into the neighborhood, ya dig?”

Following his 2022 acquisition of the storied record label, Snoop also expanded into a production house aptly named Death Row Pictures. The first film, a biopic about Snoop, will be directed by Allan Hughes and produced under the new partnership.
Death Row Records continues to broaden their horizons with the release of Altar Call, a gospel-themed project dedicated to Snoop Dogg’s late mother, Beverly Tate.
Snoop announced that the sequel to his 2018 album, Bible of Love, will be available on April 27 – Tate’s birthday.
“The spirit of my mother will forever live within me,” Snoop shared. “This album is a reflection of what she has taught me to use my voice and my platform to spread love and heal the world. Just another chapter out of the ‘Bible of Love.’”
