Sonja Norwood is opening up about her son Ray J’s health, revealing that he is battling a serious heart condition.

According to Norwood, doctors recently performed an angiogram that showed Ray J is suffering from cardiomyopathy — a form of heart disease that affects the heart muscle’s ability to pump blood effectively. She shared that his blood flow is currently functioning at only 15% to 20%, a figure that underscores the severity of the diagnosis.

Cardiomyopathy can weaken the heart over time and may lead to complications if not closely managed. While specific details about Ray J’s treatment plan have not been publicly disclosed, the update has understandably sparked concern among fans.

Ray J, the singer, entrepreneur, and television personality, has remained active in entertainment and business in recent years. Supporters across social media are now sending prayers and well wishes as he faces this significant health challenge.
