Like Drake and Cardi B before her, Sexyy Red name drops NBA Champion, MVP, and basketball’s greatest shooter, Steph Curry, on her hit “SkeeYee”. On the record Red raps ““N##### tryna shoot they shot, Stephen Curry,” referencing the 4 Time Champs legacy as a shooter of the basketball.
In a recent discussion with Vibe, the Golden State Warrior gave his reaction to the name drop. “When Sexxy Red did it, I just started laughing. I don’t know. I had never seen her at a basketball game,” Chef said.
