Suge Knight Believes That Diddy Should Walk Free

After hearing several testimonies alleging his abuse during this federal trial, many people want to see Diddy go to prison. But not everybody. Death Row Records founder, Suge Knight said during a recent interview with News Nation, he believes that the disgraced music mogul should “walk free.”

“I say this all the time, Puffy and I are not friends, but Puffy should walk free,” Knight said during the interview.

“The most important thing is that it was other executives that were involved in Puff’s life. And for Puffy to be the only guy that gets on the stand is a sad day for Hip Hop.”

Knight also believes that it is odd that all of Diddy’s former associates have been allowed to take the stand, but Combs himself has not been allowed to give his testimony.

“I don’t think this is a case where Puffy should be going to prison … How could every person who’s involved with Puffy go on the stand except for Puffy? At some point, the law gotta be blind,” Knight added,

“We just can’t jump to conclusions and say, ‘throw Puffy under the bus.’ Like I said, he and I are not friends, but Puffy definitely should walk. What’s right is right, wrong is wrong.”

However, in the event that Combs’ does receive a guilty conviction, Knight believes he will ultimately be pardoned by President Donald Trump.

“I think he’s got some favors with the government. I think they’re gonna show him a little leeway,” he said. “It might not seem like it when it’s all said and done, but I don’t think he has anything to worry about, and I don’t think he’s worried because he’s gonna be federal, and if he gets convicted, Trump’s gonna pardon him.”
