During the discussion, the Atlanta rapper listed André 3000, Kendrick Lamar, Scarface, himself, JAY-Z, and Lil Wayne as some of the greatest to ever touch the mic. The selection highlights a mix of Southern legends and lyrical powerhouses who have each made a significant impact on Hip-Hop over the years.
One notable moment from the conversation came when Eminem’s name entered the discussion. T.I. did not initially mention Eminem on his own. Instead, the Detroit rapper’s name came up after radio personality Pete Rosenberg prompted T.I., which then led to Eminem being included in the conversation.
T.I.’s list reflects his respect for artists who have shaped the culture through lyricism, influence, and longevity, while also showing the confidence he has in his own place within Hip-Hop history.
