The use of A.I. (artificial intelligence) has seen an uptick over the past few years. And while some people may be wary about artificial intelligence, T.I. is one hundred percent on board.
T.I. Says Dr. Dre Got Him on Board With A.I.
Now, T.I. did say that initially he had some concerns about the dangers of artificial intelligence. However, he also said it was a conversation with producer, Dr. Dre, that caused him to have a change of heart.
“I think it’s dangerous. And initially I have been emphatically against it,” he said during a recent episode of his podcast, Expeditiously. “I will say I talked to Dr. Dre , and you know he was telling me about producing for Bruce Springsteen. And he’s telling me that he’s using some AI stuff.”
T.I. went on to say that just because the technology is accessible, it does not necessarily mean that the process is any easier for creators. Particularly when it comes to music.
“You still have to work, be talented, and program to do what you want it to do,” he continued. “And it’s almost like if everyone else has access to it and they’re using it, and you’re not, then you’re going to be left out. And you’re going to be left behind.”

but after a convo with Dr. Dre it led him to view AI music differently, particularly after learning that Dr. Dre is now using AI to produce records with Bruce Springsteen.pic.twitter.com/Le0eJJNfcq
However, fans on social media were still not convinced that A.I. is a good thing for the music business moving forward.
“AI is gonna get to the point that we’re gonna have mythical albums come to life in AI form,” one person wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“So many thoughts… so many angry thoughts I have,” another user added.
While there are benefits to the use of the technology, not everyone is using it for good. Because of the technological advancements, people are now able to create videos. Featuring actors, entertainers, and even civil rights leaders in situations they would have never been in while they were alive. It will be interesting to see how it progresses in the future.
