T.I. did not hold back when addressing San Antonio Spurs star Luke Kornet during a recent appearance on Carmelo Anthony’s 7 pm in Brooklyn podcast.
T.I. Rips Luke Kornet Over Hawks ‘Magic City Night’ Drama
During Tip’s appearance on the program, one of the topics that came up was the Atlanta Hawks’ plans to host a ‘Magic City Night’ last season. And how Kornet was the catalyst for the commemoration being nixed by the league.
“You ain’t got to come to the m*****f****n game. So why are you worried about what the f**k we’re doing? Come on, bro — give the man a blindfold. Why the f**k, bro, are you worried about hating on our pimping so bad? This ain’t your thing to speak on, bruh,” T.I. said.

However, fans on social media did not really agree with Tip’s comments.
“Idk why people are mad at Kornet, response is pretty logical. The NBA is about trying to create a family-friendly environment,” one user wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“Naw, most of the people, especially black people, agreed. ” We’re not gonna keep pushing sex on the children,” a second user chimed in.
The Hawks were planning to celebrate the city’s iconic gentlemen’s club in a March home game against the Orlando Magic. After the Hawks announced their plans to pay homage to Magic City, Kornet penned a letter to the league. Stating that allowing the Hawks to commemorate the gentlemen’s club would “reflect poorly” on them.
Following the NBA’s decision, Kornet said that he felt the decision to cancel the Hawks’ Magic City Night felt “appropriate,” and revealed that there were many players who reached out to him who “felt similarly” about the commemoration.
