According to the New York TimesĀ prominent Hip-Hop podcast personality Taxstone born Daryl Campbell’s DNA was found on the trigger, hand grip, and magazine of the 9-millimeter Kel-Tec semiautomatic handgun that was used in the Irving Plaza shooting that took place in May of 2016.
Video shows Campbell entering the VIP room before the shooting and fleeing once gunfire took place. Troy Ave was injured and his bodyguard Ronald McPhatter was fatally shot in the chest at close range. Both were shot by the Kel-Tec semiautomatic weapon in question. Taxstone has criticized Troy Ave of not being everything that he says that he is in his music and the two haven’t even been on good terms. We’ll keep you updated as this story unfolds.
